About Me
Hi there! I'm Ashling Larkin (or Ashling Draws), a Brazilian-Irish comic artist and illustrator based in Scotland. I graduated from University of Dundee in 2016 with a BDes degree in Animation, and am currently completing my Masters degree in Comics & Graphic Novels, also at University of Dundee.
My latest project is “Estrela d’Oeste”, a 40-page comic dedicated to my late mother abut heritage, memory, culture, grief, and more. It was created as the dissertation project for my current Masters course.
I am also the co-founder of CHIP Collective, a comics collective with the aim of using comics as an accessible medium to share information. CHIP stands for “Comics Help Inform People”, and you can find us on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram.
